Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated AI Solutions Engineer to turn business challenges into practical AI solutions. You will work directly with business stakeholders to identify valuable use cases, build solutions hands-on, and take them from initial concept to production.

This is a role for someone who combines strong engineering skills with business understanding and takes ownership of the solutions they build - from defining the right problem to measuring the impact after launch.

Your daily routine would include:

• Working directly with business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases.
• Defining solution scope together with business stakeholders, balancing business value, technical feasibility, delivery time, and cost.
• Building and deploying LLM-based applications, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions on the team’s infrastructure.
• Taking use cases from Proof of Concept (PoC) through pilot to production and ensuring they deliver value to real users.
• Monitoring and improving deployed solutions, troubleshooting issues, and taking responsibility for their ongoing performance.
• Developing repeatable evaluation methods to measure AI quality and verify whether changes to prompts, models, or architectures improve results.
• Agreeing on measurable business outcomes with business owners before implementation and tracking the impact after launch.
• Developing reusable components that help accelerate future AI use cases and enable solutions to scale across the organization.
• Collaborating with the team on technology choices, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Selecting the right models and approaches based on quality, cost, latency, and data sensitivity.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based systems used by real users, including the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise after launch.
• Strong Python skills and experience developing maintainable, production-ready services.
• Experience with an AI agent framework in production. We use LangGraph, but equivalent experience with other frameworks is also relevant.
• Experience developing APIs and services using FastAPI or similar technologies, working with containers, and deploying applications in a production environment.
• Practical knowledge of RAG and the ability to investigate incorrect answers, identify root causes, and demonstrate improvements.
• Experience working with both frontier models from major cloud providers and open-weight models, choosing the right option for each use case.
• Experience evaluating LLM-based systems systematically, using repeatable quality checks rather than relying on demos or subjective impressions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into workable technical solutions.
• Confidence in communicating directly with non-technical stakeholders, challenging assumptions constructively, and agreeing on realistic scope.
• A proactive and independent approach, combined with strong collaboration skills and a sense of ownership.
• A practical understanding of cost and the ability to deliver effective solutions without unnecessary complexity.
• Fluency in Bulgarian and good working proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure and cloud-based AI services.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or other low-code agent-building platforms.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and self-hosted inference.
• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of telecommunications or experience working in a large enterprise environment.
