We are looking for a highly motivatedAML Expert - Systems Business Logic & Configuration to strengthen our AML and Compliance capabilities. This role serves as a key link between AML/Compliance business users and technical support and system administration teams, ensuring the effective configuration, optimization, and governance of the AML ecosystem.

The successful candidate will provide centralized expertise in business logic management, system configuration, fine tunings and user training, and quality assurance, supporting the continuous enhancement of the Bank's AML, KYC, and sanctions screening framework.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Logic Management and Parameterization

• Translate AML, KYC, sanctions and embargo monitoring requirements into system configurations and parameterized rules within the AML system.

• Maintain and optimize detection rules, thresholds, workflows, scoring models, and risk assessment algorithms in line with Compliance requirements.

• Review, validate, and enhance existing monitoring scenarios to improve effectiveness, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Document all configuration changes, maintain version control, and ensure clear traceability of implemented logic and validation results.

System Configuration and Technical Support

• Perform regular reviews to ensure that all AML-IT system applications are properly configured and equipped with up-to-date sanctions, watchlist, and blacklist data.

• Provide first-level technical support, including verification of system settings, logs, integrations, interfaces, and synchronization between environments.

• Support technical investigations and issue resolution in cooperation with IT teams and external vendors, including data imports, batch processing activities, and configuration updates.

• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new rules, functionality enhancements, and system releases.

Training and Knowledge Management:

• Deliver training sessions for AML and Compliance users/staff members regarding new functionalities, system changes, business logic updates, and best practices.

• Develop and maintain internal documentation, user guides, configuration inventories, and knowledge repositories.

• Act as a communication bridge between Compliance and IT teams during the implementation of new regulatory requirements, system enhancements, or process changes.

Governance, Control and Compliance

• Ensure that all configuration changes comply with internal change management procedures, with regulatory and industry standards and are fully documented and traceable.

• Maintain comprehensive audit trails in line with regulatory expectations and internal audit requirements.

• Support internal and external audits by providing evidence regarding system configurations, controls, and compliance with established procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

It would be great, but not essential if you have:

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ICA Diploma, CAMS) is preferred.

• Proven experience in system maintenance.

• Demonstrated experience in parametrization, calibration, fine tunings and system changes.
