Sensata Technologies is looking for a demand planning specialist who will be responsible for the development and assessment of demand forecasts on designated product / program categories. In this position you will work with multiple internal departments as well as external vendors on countless analyses to determine the needed products and quantities for certain products / programs.

General Responsibilities
• Leads in the creation of future capacity plans
• Handles any communication with marketing, manufacturing and customer service to ensure accuracy and efficiency of message
• Leads in defining an integrated supply chain to produce sustained, timely performance on all accounts
• Leads in the measuring and monitoring of specific product / program categories
• Leads in creating a demand plan that will be used throughout the company in regards to supply planning
• Leads in in-depth analysis with large amounts of data to run various statistics and analyses on the company to help future predictability of demand planning

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

Key Accountabilities: 

•  Establish standard demand planning procedures and templates for demand reviews as a part of overall SIOP transformation. 
• Work with ERP transition teams to ensure data and process readiness while providing directions for demand planning improvements. 
• Support the establishment of a financial forecast reconciliation process with commercial finance and BU team. 
• Establish standard mechanism of importing customer inputs using external data such as market research, vehicle builds, economic environment, customer specific inputs and customer portals. 
• Establish standard mechanism of using internal inputs for demand planning such as order fill, EDIs, new business opportunities, product life cycle attributes, salesperson inputs and contractual agreements. 
• Establish playbook and assessment for Demand planning solution Demantra and home-grown systems) 
• Lead demand planning and IT team to develop roadmap for new software integrating demand and supply.  
• Establish report out and accuracy for Internal and external demand planning inputs to develop exception-based actions and support Monthly cadence at different levels of organization. 
• Report monthly data on KPIs (Forecast accuracy, On Time Delivery, new business launch conversion rates, segmentation) and drive opportunities for improvement list shared with the SIOP GPO team. 
• Use expertise in data visualization and tools (Oracle analytics Cloud/OAC, Oracle Business Intelligence / OBIEE and others) to establish dashboards and trackers for SIOP metrics focused on demand planning. 
• Automate analytic techniques to interpret data, identify issues, analyze causes, data visualization and provide automated-Bot solutions. 
• Work closely with the team of GPOs to understand overall SIOP objectives and represent the interests of Demand planning though different levels of the organization. 
• Work closely with SIOP teams globally on development and execution of SIOP improvement projects. 
• Work as a SME and design training for the broader demand planning team as well as also solution lead for enhancing tools. 
• Lead monthly demand planning council meetings representing with focus on key accomplishments, challenges, improvement initiatives, tool changes, highlights within the field of Demand planning and others. 
• Drive SIOP team members in developing or implementing general SIOP project improvements. 
• Drive SIOP team in improving the execution and/or design of the SIOP Reviews as per the monthly SIOP cadence. 
• Actively participate in BU Demand Reviews, Site Supply Reviews, or SIOP meetings. 
• Ensure system parameters are set to support forecast accuracy targets.
