The Data Quality Management (DQM) department of UBB has as an objective to improve the quality of data used in UBB, specifically the data used by the group-wide reporting platform known as Group Functions Data and Reporting Layer which services both group-functions and local functions.


The main mission of DQM is turning data into a strategic asset.
By which we mean that we want to: enable all our stakeholders within UBB and KBC Group to run their business more effectively, by reducing the time needed for making correct reporting be an efficient provider of reliable data from a central data warehouse designed for reporting purposes create a 'single version of the truth' by aligning terminology and its use in data collection and reporting maintain a flexible infrastructure (central data warehouse) to satisfy current and future regulatory requirements act as a competence center for data quality.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the implementation of Group Data Management Framework on a local level.
• Present proposal for approval by Data Governance Council related to the improvement of data quality management in the Bank.
• Screen for the correct usage of the different Group definitions throw-out UBB departments.
• Participate in the implementation of unique, clear and unequivocal definitions throw-out UBB departments based on Group valid business description.
• Provide professional support and advice to all key stakeholders in their data management.
• Fix data quality issues, data gaps, data delivery and report incidents.
• Coordinate all DQM matters between Group and the Local business unit;
• Participate in different DQM boards and special projects as assigned (Group and Local).
• Participate in the implementation of Data Quality Labeling process on local level and be a part of the quality team ranking the date quality of the reports.


REQUIREMENTS:
• University Degree in Finance/ Business administration/Accounting or other relevant to the assignment discipline
• Previous experience in the banking/auditing area is a must.
• Credit Risk knowledge/Finance knowledge or Risk knowledge will be treated as an advantage
• Good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Fluency in English is a must - both written and spoken.
• Advanced computer skills - Excel, power point, etc;
• Strong Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player.
