This Position reports to:

Production Manager


 

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be leading a team in the Electrification Smart Power production unit, driving efficient and cost-effective production results to meet customer requirements, specifications and targets by coordinating and plan equipment utilization, personnel and production processes.

You will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner, developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to help the organization achieve the highest level of operational performance.


The work model for the role is onsite.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Coordinates the project plan, distributes the assembly recourses, oversees complex material flow, manages the assembly schedule, oversees the factory acceptance test. Constantly communicate the project status with the customer and project lead.

Works together with all direct and indirect functions on reaching the defined operations parameters in an efficient and an effective manner

Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed

Executes plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates

Qualifications for the role

5 years of experience in managing teams and preferably project oriented business

University degree, preferably in Electrical field of engineering

Excellent communication is English – both written and verbal

Leadership, independent decision-making, critical-thinking, adaptability and good communication skills

Lean 6Sigma Green belt (or similar certificate) will be considered as an advantage
