OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR

Location: Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands

Working Hours

Full-time | 40 hours per week
8-hour shifts starting between 03:00 – 11:00
Most shifts start between 05:00 – 08:00

As a Crane Operator, you will work in a large production hall where concrete elements are produced for major construction projects across the Netherlands.

Your role is essential in ensuring the safe lifting, movement, and positioning of heavy concrete structures.

Your main tasks:

• Operate an overhead crane to move concrete prefab elements
• Attach, guide, and position heavy loads safely
• Inspect lifting equipment and supporting materials
• Monitor and ensure safety during all lifting operations
• Communicate clearly with colleagues during movements
• Support the production flow within the factory

• Proven experience operating an overhead crane

• Valid driving license (Category B)

• English language level minimum B1

• Valid VCA certificate (or willing to obtain it free of charge through us)

• Able to travel independently to work

• Responsible, safety-focused, and stress-resistant

• Flexible attitude toward working hours

✔ Competitive salary based on Dutch CAO

•  €2,500 – €3,100 net/month (depending on experience & allowances)

✔ Shift allowance:

• 120% between 05:00 – 06:00
• 200% on weekends

✔ Overtime allowance: 150% for hours above 40/week
