This Position reports to: Planning and Fulfillment Team Leader


 

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase goods from internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers according to the delivery schedule, transportation mode, price, special requirements, and terms and conditions. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities are aligned with company purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by handling urgent situations to ensure timely deliveries.

The work model for the role is onsite.

This role is contributing to thе Electrification Smart Buildings Business Area in branch Petrich.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Releasing purchase requisitions and initiating purchase orders in the system, aligning them with customer requirements (based on ERP and standard operation procedures) and as per the release strategy and table of authorities.
Monitoring suppliers’ order acknowledgments and dispatch advice, along with the inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation processes. Selecting and optimizing raw material inventory levels to maintain supplies at targeted service levels. Analyzing excess inventory, identifying root cause and assigning follow-up action to appropriate value chain function, inventory counting processes management.
Tracking the purchase orders backlog and performing regular expending activities with internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers to ensure customer on-time delivery.
Minimizing the late backlog by proactively identifying root causes and implementing recovery plans; and tracking goods received at the warehouse to verify appropriate delivery and ensures invoice processing and high customer service level.


Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Ability to demonstrate your experience in a similar position
Very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP will be considered as an advantage
You are at ease communicating in English and eager to learn, flexible, open-minded and team-work oriented
