Your daily routine would include:

• Working in a team of experts, you will take over the planning, securing, and implementation of Oracle Database Infrastructure for A1 Austria.
• Performing performance tuning, optimization activities, and incident management.
• Participating in and contributing to complex Oracle migration projects.
• Being responsible for the regular implementation of patch strategies, creating reports, conducting compliance checks, and coordinating these activities with relevant stakeholders and peers.
• Collaborating with technical leads to develop and continuously optimize operational processes in line with ITIL inventory processes.
• Evaluating new Oracle features based on your profound technical knowledge and ensuring operational compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• Several years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in an ICT environment.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Licensing.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GI, RAC, ASM, ACFS, and Data Guard.
• Experience with Oracle migration technologies (RMAN, PDB Live Migration, (X)TTS, etc.).
• Experience with Oracle Backup & Restore and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Oracle Partitioning, Compression, and Parallel features.
• Experience with Open Source databases or MS SQL is considered an advantage.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
