The company is major European company in the field of transportation engineering.
They have a production portfolio of modern vehicles that meet the latest European standards.
They are looking for a motivated individual to help establish and manage its new branch in Sofia, Bulgaria. The role includes coordinating the homologation of its products, setting up a local service structure, and building a service team. You will be responsible for spare parts logistics, employee recruitment for service technicians, and managing the team as it grows. Mention position is based in Bulgaria, frequent travel to the Czech Republic will be required.

Traveling
In the beginning travel to the Czech Republic to get acquainted with colleagues and company products. Then traveling within Bulgaria as well.

Reporting to management in the Czech Republic - Vice President South & East Europe and Vice President Service.



Requirements and necessary skills
Requirements
• Proven project management experience
• Experience with rolling stock and service is a strong advantage
• Background in working with international companies preferably from Rolling Stock
• Fluent in Bulgarian (preferably native speaker)
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Knowledge of Czech is a significant advantage
• Ability to manage and grow a local team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Situating in Bulgaria is a must, frequent travelling to the Czech Republic will be required

Job description
• The first task will be to establish its branch in Bulgaria in Sofia and related matters - processing of documents, helping hand for colleagues from the Czech Republic.
• Coordinate the homologation of its products in Sofia.
• Creation of a local service structure, including the creation of a service team, workplace and its equipment. Spare parts logistic.
• Search for employees - service technicians. In the future managing this team of service technicians.
• In cooperation with colleagues from the Czech Republic to develop contacts and business opportunities in Bulgaria.
