For our Main Technical Directorate at SOF Connect, we are looking to hire:

Senior Systems Engineer, Building Management Systems

The role:

Senior Systems Engineer, Building Management Systems – responsible for managing, organizing, and supervising the maintenance and repair of fire safety systems and building management systems (BMS) at Sofia Airport, ensuring timeliness, quality, and accuracy of all activities.

The role includes participation in system inspections carried out by external subcontractors, coordination of repair activities, and support during the commissioning of new facilities into regular operation, in accordance with the engineering expertise held. The engineer maintains accurate technical and operational records related to the site and closely monitors the performance of external service providers contracted by SOF Connect JSC, ensuring full compliance with their contractual obligations.

Additionally, the position involves conducting regular checks to identify deficiencies or gaps in the daily activities of contracted maintenance companies responsible for systems under their oversight by proposing the appropriate corrective measures, in accordance with the engineering expertise held. The engineer also provides expert evaluations and performs technical analysis of projects and proposals submitted by external firms.

Your profile:

• Higher education in Engineering (Automation Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering) with relevant professional experience in a similar role
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position
  Strong organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams, including task allocation, performance monitoring, mentoring, and fostering a high-performance work environment
• Ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external contractors and stakeholders
